A Bit About Me
As a seasoned business psychologist, I have over two decades of experience in designing and shaping scientifically grounded psychometric products and talent assessment solutions. Ever since being a student in Occupational Psychology at the University of Utrecht, the Netherlands, I have been intrigued by the power (and the little bit of 'magic') of psychometric assessments. I have specialised in deepdiving on the science behind talent assessment and the value that data analytics and well-designed psychometric tools offer organisations. I would love to add scientific and psychometric rigour to your tools and processes.

Global Head of Data Analytics, YSC Consulting – part of Accenture
Leading the science behind YSC’s data driven people intelligence platform. Responsibilities encompassed formulating and executing a comprehensive data strategy that underpins the functionality of YSC's tools and consulting services. This involved the development of robust data capture tools and methodologies, which enabled us to delve deep into the dynamics of leadership, team interactions, and organizational culture.
Head of Psychometrics, 10x Psychology
Responsible for the provision of scientifically rigorous, psychometric assessments that powered the 10x solutions, including shaping the data analytics driving the predictive insights from these assessments. As a thought leader within 10x I championed the transformative potential of psychometrics and data analytics in resolving intricate talent management challenges.
Managing Research Scientist / Senior Research Scientist, SHL
Focusing on the intersection between testing and technology and the opportunities this provided to drive innovation in assessment design. I was responsible for the growth and development of one of the most well-known and utilised occupational personality questionnaires, the OPQ. I actively contributed to crafting and validating leading-edge assessments.
Psychometric Data Consultant, Independent
Delivering valuable insights and solutions to our clients while upholding the highest scientific standards. My responsibilities encompassed developing psychometric instruments for recruitment, selection, and personnel development as well as conducting client-focused business outcome studies, annual reviews, and validation studies.
Managing Consultant/Senior Product Design Consultant, SHL Head Office
Responsible for design and innovation of talent assessment products and solutions including online ability tests (The Verify Portfolio), competency-based assessments (UCF Scorable Application Form, SAF) and analysis of OPQ and other related products.
IT Product Manager, SHL Europe
Responsible for development, localisation, rollout, and implementation of SHL’s international psychometric talent assessment products. Involved in building the EU Test Administration Platform, acting as a facilitator for local business units, being the point of contact between the region and Head Office functions, and in establishing communication processes within the European Region.
Product Manager, SHL Netherlands
Responsible for innovation, localisation and customisation of psychometric instruments. Work included Dutch accreditation (NIP) for the SHL Ability Test portfolio and OPQ, localisation of the OPQ 32i and several ability tests, maintenance of manuals (norming, validation), facilitating sales with the translation of (new) products into market opportunities for the Dutch market.
