A Bit About Me

I have over 20 years’ experience in psychometric development. I have been working mainly in research, design, productisation and enhancement of psychometric assessments and their reports, internationally. I am passionate about data, best practice and measurement precision, and using this to build first-class psychometric tests and test output to fulfil the needs of the organisations I work with.

Highly experienced in:

  • Psychometric test development (Personality, ability, motivation and bespoke assessments)

  • Psychometric feedback sessions with candidates and employees

  • Cultural adaptation and cross-cultural use of assessments

  • Job analysis for assessment development

  • Competency framework design/mapping

I work with companies in a wide range of industries and with various job roles and levels helping to create best practice assessments for both recruitment and development.

Lead Psychologist, Thrive

I joined Thrive’s Senior Leadership Team in its very early start up stage where my main role was to build and lead a business psychology and data science department. Working closely with IT colleagues, I led the development of products and solutions, specifically designed for smaller businesses in the modern digital world. Work included the development of personality, competency and ability assessment content, workplace surveys and organisational culture.

Product Development Manager, Sova Assessment Ltd

I joined Sova in its very early start up stage where my main focus was on psychometric product development. This included the development and on-going enhancement of Sova’s portfolio of personality, ability and motivation assessments and reports, as well as building bespoke and customised solutions for larger clients and partners. I provided psychometric support and advice to clients, partners and colleagues and ensured best practice in the development and cultural adaptation of Sova's international products.

Managing the end-to-end development process for new products, working with subject matter experts to take solutions from concept, through design and trial, to build and roll out. Working cross-functionally within the business, liaising closely with marketing, IT, client- facing and delivery teams to create and roll out new solutions. Leading on-going enhancement of the portfolio of Talent Q assessments.

Responsible for product development, training, product marketing and direct reports. Led the development of a range of off-the-shelf products including a brand new online email assessment platform, a competency profiling tool, a talent detection tool, and several bespoke 360 assessments/competency questionnaires.
